NIL BATTEY SANNATA SPECIAL SCREENING FOR DHAI AKSHAR NGO KIDS

Underprivileged kids at the NGO Dhai Akshar were pleasantly surprised when a special screening the movie Nil Battey Sannata was organized at a suburban theatre. Project Dhai Akshar is a non-profit organization working to provide a learning environment for Mumbai’s severely disadvantaged children and their families.  Nil Battey Sannata director Ashwini Iyer and actress Swara Bhaskar were seen mingling with the kids. The makers were engrossed in conversations about the Mathematics and their reactions to the movie. Swara Bhaskar-starrer “Nil Battey Sannata”, narrates a story of a single-mother working as a domestic help to ensure that her daughter receives good education. Replete with life’s lessons, “Nil Battey Sannata” is a powerfully packed, emotional tale of dreams and ambition, which is beautifully captured through a mother-daughter relationship.
