Salman And Anushka Kickstart Sultan Promotions With Style!
The much awaited Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma's wrestling saga" Sultan" is slated to release on the auspicious occasion of Eid. Salman is essaying the role of a Haryana-based wrestler while Anushka plays his love interest and a fellow wrestler, The actors recently kick started its promotions with panache.
The actors donned a casual avatar for the promotions. Anushka sported a ripped blue denims and a denim off-shoulder top with cool strap-on shoes. Salman sported a black and grey T-shirt with sturdy black shoes.
The actors posed happily for the shutterbugs, Anushka was quoted saying, "Everything that I am going to do as an actress doesn't matter where it's coming from. It just has to be interesting. I don't want to go and play a cliched Indian girl. The cliches are there, so if I do something, it has to be interesting. What Priyanka and Deepika are doing is amazing... More power to them."
Salman courted controversy during the promotions quoting that after hectic training sessions he used to feel “like a raped woman”. During an address to the media, he was explaining his packed schedule which included long rigorous training hours when he compared his tired body to that of a raped woman. His statement which is termed as insensitive has triggered controversy with women’s activists demanding apology from the actor.As per reports, Salman is said to have realised his mistake quickly and said, “ I don’t think I should have said that.”
