This Photoshoot of Priyanka Chopra Changed Her Life

It won’t be an exaggeration if we say that PC has not only proven her mettle in Bollywood but she has also created a niche for herself internationally. Be it her famous TV series Quantico or now bagging a role in Baywatch, Priyanka is touching new height and the actress has already won accolades.

But you will be amazed to know that this former Miss World, who set the temperature soaring with her hot bikini body, was not even allowed to wear t-shirts along with a pair of denims. But this one photo shoot changed her entire life and made her what she is now.

Born to physicians in the Indian Army, Ashok and Madhu, actress Priyanka hails originally from Jamshedpur. Since PC lived in many parts of the country, hence, she takes Bareilly to be her real home.       

She shifted to Bareilly along with the family after her father’s posting. In an episode of 'Koffee with Karan', Priyanka revealed that during her college days she made sure to visit Kipps Madhu Sweets in Bareilly as she loved their coconut burfi and cold coffee.

She did her schooling from La Martiniere Girls' School in Lucknow and graduated from St. Maria Goretti College in Bareilly.

Rajiv Suri, who did her photoshoot for the very first time, revealed that Priyanka was only 16 at the time of the shoot.

He further said that PC didn’t know much about acting and it was her father who sent her for the photoshoot. Miss Chopra was said to be shy when Rajiv initially captured her in his camera.

Priyanka was chosen as a participant in the Miss World competition on the basis of the same portfolio. Fortunately stars worked in her favour and she won the Miss World pageant of 2000.

Priyanka once revealed in an interview that after returning to Bareilly from Boston at the age of 16, she was asked not to wear jeans and t-shirts by her father. And rather she was made to wear suits, reason being her father didn’t like the way other men would letch at Priyanka.

You will be amazed to know that Priyanka made a revelation in the interview that her uncle Pawan Chopra was against the idea of her working in films when she was offered a role in a Bollywood movie at the age of 17. He told Priyanka that girls don’t do such things and shockingly, Pawan happens to be Parineeti Chopra’s father.
