I would like to gift Salman a bride – Deepika Padukone

While there are many rumours going rounds that Bollywood’s eternal bachelor, Salman Khan might soon lose his bachelor tag and that he may tie the knot with his Romanian friend Iulia Vantur early next year, Deepika Padukone very aptly and timely put it when she was asked about the gift she would like to give the star known for his timeless charm and devil-may-care attitude, on his 50^th birthday, on December 27. “I would like to gift him (Salman) a bride,” was Deepika's spontaneous response. Salman’s marriage is a topic that has kept many a Bollywood lover and his fans occupied for several years now. In fact, the actor has often told media-persons to not to ask the question on his marriage as it irritated him. But now, given the fact that he has been cleared of all charges in the 2002 hit-and-run case, the relieved actor might finally be able to walk down the altar and say ‘I do’ in 2016, say some of those close to Salman. The rest, as they say, time will tell!
