AAMIR KHAN

Mr. Perfectionist of Bollywood Aamir Khan too was searched and interrogated at Chicago airport by custom authorities.

ANUSHKA SHARMA

Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma was caught by the airport officials while returning from IIFA in 2011. The actress was carrying undeclared jewellery worth 45 lakhs. After producing necessary documents she was let off.

BIPASHA BASU

Bong beauty Bipasha Basu was detained at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, Mumbai for carrying a lot of valuables which she had failed to declare. The actress had to pay Rs 12,000 as duty and after one hour of questioning, Bipasha was allowed to leave.

IRRFAN KHAN

 Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan was detained twice at the US airport. First instance was in 2008 at the Los Angeles Airport when he had gone to receive an award for his role in the movie ‘The Namesake’ and then in 2009 in New York when he was supposed to be honoured for ‘Slumdog Millionaire’.

PREITY ZINTA

The dimpled beauty of Bollywood Preity Zinta was stopped from entering the security check of a Delhi-bound flight in 2010 at Chandigarh International Airport, India. She was let off finally when she produced the identification papers.

RANBIR KAPOOR

The Rockstar actor Ranbir Kapoor was detained at Chhatrapati Shivaji International airport, Mumbai for carrying undeclared goods. The Actor had to pay the custom duty and penalty for goods and was then allowed to leave.

RICHA CHADDHA

 The Gangs of Wasseypur actress Richa Chadda was once detained at the Delhi Airport by custom officials. It seems the airport officials found something suspicious in her bag which led to them questioning her for hours. However, the Authorities then decided to let her go.

SHILPA SHETTY

 Shilpa Shetty has also been detained at Mumbai Airport, allegedly over a kiss she had shared with Hollywood star Richard Gere (there was a case against her which, by law, did not allow her to travel). After producing the necessary papers and proof that she was cleared by the Supreme Court from charges the actress was let off.

MINNISHA LAMBA

 Minissha Lamba was stopped by the custom officials at the Mumbai Airport on her way back from the Cannes film festival. The actress faced 16 hours of questioning for carrying undeclared jewellery worth Rs.50 lakhs.

SHAHRUKH KHAN

King Khan of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan was detained twice at the New York airport by immigration officials. The first instance occurred when he had flown to the city in a private plane to address students at Yale University. The officials stopped him from going out of the premises for nearly one hour. And the second time it happened during the promotions of ‘My Name is Khan’.
