CHECK OUT THE FIRST POSTER OF SHAHID-ALIA STARRER “SHAANDAAR”

Ever since photos of Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt from Shaandaar were leaked online a few weeks ago, moviegoers have been waiting to see what the two will look like together in the final cut.

Wait no longer, as the first look of the film was released today by Karan Johar on the micro-blogging site Twitter:

Shahid and Alia look quite adorable as they lie in deep sleep, holding hands, on a bench floating on feathers with the caption '...and they wake up tomorrow'. The movie supposedly follows the path of two insomniacs who fall in love at a lavish destination wedding, taking their own romance to the skies.

Interestingly, Vikas Bahl's Shaandaar will feature not only veteran actor Pankaj Kapur, but also Shahid's sister Sanah in a pivotal role. Sanjay Kapoor and Karan Johar too are likely to appear on screen for the romantic comedy.

Considering how sweet Shahid and Alia look in the first poster, the audience is sure to look forward to the chemistry they share on screen. Well, we will soon catch a glimpse of it in the trailer, which is due when Akshay Kumar, Sidharth Malhotra-starrer Brothers is released next week.

The pair is going to be seen again in Abhishek Chaubey's thriller Udta Punjab in early 2016. The film is based on the drug abuse issue in Punjab, and also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit Dosanjh.
