10 hit Bollywood jodis that are back together!

Time and again we have witnessed, the camaraderie that Bollywood celebrities share off-screen reflects on their reel performance. Be it Salman-Kareena's chemistry or Kajol and Karan Johar's equation, it just shows in the movies. And while the audience has thoroughly enjoyed many star jodis together in the past, there are many hit pairs who didn't get an opportunity to collaborate with each other again. However, 2015-16 seems to be different. We are seeing some iconic actor-actress pairs and actor-director duos making a comeback together. We present to you a list of 10 such jodis:

Tabu and Ajay Devgn:
The actors, who last worked together in 1999 film 'Thakshak', collaborated together in the recently released 'Drishyam'. Though their equation remained same, Tabu realized Ajay had become a brand, whereas for Devgn saw his 'Vijaypath' co-star as the same 'old college friend'.

Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol:
Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan were the most loved, admired and sought after on-screen couple of the 90s. Their magical chemistry simply worked wonders. The actors last worked together in Karan Johar's 'My Name Is Khan' that hit the theatres in 2010 before Kajol took a sabbatical. And now the most loved couple is all set to sizzle in Rohit Shetty's 'Dilwale'. SRK-Kajol's romance and serene locations of Bulgaria surely make this one the much awaited collaboration!

Salman Khan and Sooraj Barjatya:
Salman Khan tasted success back in 1989 with Sooraj Barjatya's 'Maine Pyaar Kiya'. The duo then worked on two other blockbuster films - 'Hum Aapke Hain Koun' in 1994 and 'Hum Saath Saath Hai' in 1999. Though all their films were successful, Salman-Sooraj never worked again. And now after 17 years the duo have got back together to work on 'Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo' which releases this Diwali.

Sonam Kapoor and Salman Khan
Actress Sonam Kapoor debuted in Bollywood opposite Ranbir Kapoor and Salman Khan in 'Saawariya' and since then the lady hasn't had the opportunity of working with either of the actors. However, she will be seen sharing screen space with Salman after a gap of 8 years in 'Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo'.

Nikhil Advani and Salman Khan
'Salaam-e-Ishq' was the film for which Salman and Nikhil associated for the first time. While the film fizzled out at the box office, the duo have decided to work again, this time in the capacity of director-producer for Nikhil's upcoming movie 'Hero' which is the launch pad for Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty.

Deepika Padukone and Imtiaz Ali:
Leggy lass Deepika and versatile filmmaker Imtiaz Ali worked together for the first time in 2009 hit 'Love Aaj Kal'. While Imtiaz is not known to work with same people again, Deepika seems to be an exception. Deepika and Imtiaz have teamed up again for 'Tamasha' which also stars Ranbir Kapoor in the lead. Incidentally, Imtiaz will be working with Ranbir also for the second time, the first time being 'Rockstar' in 2011.

John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan:
Their 'Dostana' began eleven years back when they first shared screen space together in 'Dhoom'. Later they were seen together playing the gay couple in Tarun Mansukhani's movie back in 2008. And now they are back together, this time in Neeraj Vora's 'Hera Pheri 3'.

Farhan Akhtar and Shah Rukh Khan
After directing and producing 'Don 2', Farhan Akhtar and Shah Rukh Khan would be reconciling after a gap of five years for the Eid 2016 release 'Raees'. While earlier, Farhan was to play the role which is now being portrayed by Nawazuddin Siddiqui, the former chose to associate only as a producer.

Akshay Kumar and Abhishek Bachchan:
Last but not the least, our Khiladi star will be seen sharing screen space with Abhishek Bachchan in 'Housefull 3'. The duo earlier worked together back in 2002 in a film called 'Haan Maine Bhi Pyaar Kiya' which also starred Karisma Kapoor. Since then, there was nothing substantial that came their way. However, Abhishek was seen doing a small cameo in Akshay's 'Shaukeens' last year.

Abhishek Bachchan and Riteish Deshmukh:
They defined 'bromance' way back in 2005 when their film 'Bluffmaster' released. And though their camaraderie was much appreciated, Abhishek and Riteish both didn't come together for any other project. However, now the duo is all set to tickle your funny bone as they will be seen together in 'Housefull 3' and 'Bluffmaster 2'.
