Flood Relief For Kashmir From Haider Team

Although they don’t want it be made public the truth is Vishal Bhardwaj and his actors in Haider really care for what happens in Kashmir.

According to a very reliable source, the Haider team has contributed very generously to the J & K flood-relief fund. But they don’t wish the matter to be made public.

Says a source closely related to the film, “The Haider team doesn’t want their genuine concern for the Jammu and Kashmir flood victims to be misconstrued as a sign of self-promotion. So they have strictly forbidden their marketing team from putting out stories on their charity. But the fact is, many of the actors and technicians from Haider have come forward with whatever help they could during this hour of need.”

Apparently efforts are also on to host at least a couple of charity shows in aid of the flood victims.

Says the source, “Ideally the Haider team would have liked these shows to happen in Kashmir itself. But there are no movie theatres in the Valley. So the shows in aid of the flood victims would have to happen in Mumbai or Delhi.
