Television actress Pratyusha Banerjee who is popularly known for her character as Anandi from ‘Balika Vadhu’ committed suicide earlier in the day. The actress was declared dead at Kokilaben Hospital, Mumbai. The actress took her own life by hanging herself at her home.
Pratyusha had become ‘extremely depressed’ over her relationship with boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh.
According to Bhaskar.com, when Pratyusha’s body was taken to the funeral. Meanwhile Rakhi Swant has revealed that Pratyusha take 1 crore rupees of Life Insurance Policy on her name. In which she made the nominee to his boyfriend.
Police is investigating the possible grounds that may have forced Pratyusha to resort to the extreme step. Police have taken Banerjee’s boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh for interrogation.
