I’m not interested in leaving a fashion seal on the planet: Anushka

Anushka Sharma is the cover girl of Vogue magazine for their first edition of the New Year. The actress in the glossy says she is not interested in leaving a fashion seal on the planet, she added that she wears what she likes and what she feels comfortable in.
“I’m not interested in leaving a fashion seal on the planet. I wear what I like, what I feel comfortable in. When you are dressed like yourself, it’s your world, otherwise you are pretend acting in somebody else’s world. Clothes matter.”
The “Band Baaja Barat” star also spoke about her boyfriend Virat Kohli, but nothing indicating their relationship. Asked to complete the sentence, Virat Kohli is…, she said, “Virat Kohli is a cricketer.”
Excerpts from the interview:
Name an actress prettier than you.
Katrina Kaif.
SRK or Aamir? Who’s more fun?
Everyone knows it’s Shah Rukh. SRK will ask you questions, he makes everyone happy, he has this great energy. Aamir is completely focused – he works like a horse with blinkers on. He’s normally quiet. I’m more like Aamir.
Ranbir Kapoor or Ranveer Singh?
Ranbir Kapoor.
There is a quote by Cher..."If I want to put my tits on my back, it's my business." What's your take on the baklash you received for your plumped up lips?
It's very hurtful to comment on someone's looks, especially for an actress; it shakes you. Even though you think you can develop a thick skin, you can't. I did it for a film, not because I wasn't happy with my looks. And it was just a filler, not a surgery.
In the beginning people said I was skinny. I had to really struggle to put on weight. An actress I was being photographed with said, 'Oh, you are so skinny.' How is it okay to call someone skinny when you can't call someone fat? I would never comment on someone's look. Never.
There is a quote by psychologist Dorothy Rowe that you tweeted: "Depression is a prison where you are both the suffering prisoner and the cruel jailor." Have you ever suffered from it?
I have anxiety. And I'm treating my anxiety. I'm on medication for my anxiety. Why am I saying this? Because it's a completely normal thing. It's a biological problem. In my family there have been cases of depression. More and more people should talk openly about it. There is nothing shameful about it or something to hide. If you had a constant stomach pain, wouldn't you go to the doctor? It's that simple. I want to make this my mission, to take any shame out of this, to educate people about this.
