With half of the year gone by and Bollywood churning out only 6 super hits so far, including Airlift, Neerja, Kapoor & Sons, Baaghi, Fan, Ki and Ka, cine freaks are obviously expecting loads of good work from their favourite stars, in the coming times. And our celebrities too seem to be in the mood to fulfil all the demands with the platters ready for all their fans. A number of big and promising projects are lined up, set to entertain you the rest of the year and the next year too! We bring you a sneak-peak of all the projects in store for you.

Shah Rukh Khan

Raees: The upcoming action thriller also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Pakistani actress Mahira Khan. Set in 1980s, the film tells the story of the bootlegger Raees Khan, played bySrk, whose business is highly challenged and eventually thwarted by a police officer, essayed by Nawaz.

Gauri Shinde’s next:  Not much has been revealed about the project besides the fact that it brings SRK, Alia Bhatt and Gauri, on board, for the first time. Apparently, the film is a mature love story between a 52-year-old counsellor and his 22-year-old student, and has already wrapped up it’s major shooting schedule.  

Imtiaz Ali’s next: Shah Rukh Khan will be seen sharing screen space with Anushka Sharma in Imtiaz Ali's next. This will be their third film as on-screen pair after Rab Ne Bana Di Jodiand Jab Tak Hai Jaan. The film is set to go on floors in June.

Aanand L Rai's next: SRK will be pairing with the Raanjhanaa and Tanu Weds Manu Returnsdirector Anand L Rai for the first time. The superstar will be seen essaying the role of a dwarf in the interesting love story. 

Salman Khan

'Sultan': The much-awaited sports drama, produced by Yash Raj Films, also stars Anushka Sharma in a key role. The film centers around wrestler Sultan Ali Khan, played by Salman, and the problems he faces and overcomes in his personal and professional lives.

'Dabangg 3': The film, produced by Arbaaz Khan, will go on floors in 2017 and retains Sonakshi Sinha as it’s leading lady. 

Aamir Khan

'Dangal': This is yet another sprtts drama coming from the stables of Bollywood. The film, produced by Disney Studio India, revolves around Mahavir Singh Phogat, who taught wrestling to his daughters Babita Kumari and Geeta Phogat. The film also stars TV’s popular face Sakshi Tanwar.

'Sarfarosh 2': The film’s shooting will commence in 2017. Not divulging much, director John Mathew said, “The sequel will have a different story. We are yet to zero-in on an area around which the plot would revolve." 

Akshay Kumar

'Housefull 3': The makers are set with the third instalment of the ‘Housefull’ franchise that also stars Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri and Lisa Haydon. The laugh riot has been shot in London and Delhi.

'Rustom': The film, also starring Ileana D’Cruz, is reportedly a film based on the 1959 Nanavati case where naval officer Kavas Maneckshaw Nanavati was tried for the murder of his wife’s lover, Prem Ahuja.

'Namastey England': The film is not a sequel to ‘Namastey London’ and will see Neha Sharma’s model sister Aisha making her Bollywood debut. 

Sidharth Malhotra

'Baar Baar Dekho': Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar and Karan Johar the film features Sidharth and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles. The film’s first shooting schedule began in Glasgow in 2015 and recently shot a song in Krabi. The poster of the love story has already garnered many eyeballs.

'Bang Bang 2': The sequel to 2014 film ‘Bang Bang’ will also star Jacqueline Fernandez. Fox Star Studios are planning to make this film as the biggest action bonanza in Bollywood.
